Back To The Daily Grind With The Morning Grind

Coming Home

I have such a love/hate relationship with coming home from an amazing holiday. Love because nothing is quite as relaxing as falling asleep in your own bed after flying home for who knows how many hours. Hate because it means that particular adventure is over, at least until the next time.

Assuming everything worked out well, and I didn’t have too many strenuous delays on my flights home, I got home late last night. I’m also going back to work today, so there won’t be too many immediate updates. Cue all of the work at my day job I need to catch up on, fueled by massive amounts of espresso shots. Quad shot latte, you’ll be the real MVP today.

But I will try and get through my email, any comments, tags, or tweets I have missed these past two weeks, during my lunch. Or I will clock out, take a nap, clock back in and get back to work #BecauseJetLag.

That being said, keep an eye out on instagram and twitter for some sneak peeks from my trip!

  • I hope you’ve had an incredible holiday, the first 24 hours afterwards can always feel a little deflating.. but once they’re over, you’ll be able to slot back in and then reminisce happy memories from your previous trip! 🙂
