Urban Decay Pulp Fiction

While I was always a little afraid of wearing a bold lip while I was working on my undergrad work, lately I am loving a red lip more and more. Now that Autumn is here and that many a fashion week has re-embraced red lips, it was the perfect excuse to indulge a purchase from my lust list. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I have always loved Quentin Tarantino movies, and Urban Decay‘s 24/7 liners. So the Mrs. Mia Wallace liner and lipstick were promptly added to my cart on Sephora. Sorry not sorry.

Not only is the color absolutely perfect, it stays put FOREVER! Though I did do as much as I could to ensure that it would (though sometimes that just doesn’t make a difference)… I started with a quick lip scrub and followed with a lip primer to give the color a good base. I also filled my whole lips in with the lip liner, which was actually a great look all on it’s own. Then finally topped it off with the lipstick. Not only did it NOT BUDGE for hours, it lasted through snacking, eating, and many a glass of wine. Given it wasn’t as bright as when originally applied, at the end of the night I still had a nice matte finish that was still pretty rich and pigmented. Even my Mac Ruby Woo doesn’t wear quite as evenly – and that has been my HG red for the last year. The Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner has always been among my favorites, so it’s pretty natural that the lip liner is just as good as well!

Even though I had super high expectations of this based on the reviews I’ve read on other blogs, they all seem to be warranted. You can find the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil in Mrs. Mia Wallace here, and the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Revolution Lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace here.
