It’s been a while since I’ve filled up the little tiny Sephora bag that I keep under my sink with empties. Honestly, I need to get much better about getting through all of my products; I have a bad habit of using half the tube/package and then switching to something newer/different.
Tokyo Milk Tainted Love No. 62 Handcreme
This stuff smells absolutely freaking delicious, but as a lotion/hand cream it is not as moisturizing as it could be. Tonka bean is quite possibly my new favorite scent. While I probably won’t repurchase this product because I need a little more heavy duty of a moisturizer for my dry skin, the rollerball fragrance has been moved to my wishlist.
Clarins Sunscreen Care Oil Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 30
If you’ve been a reader for a while you know that I love using body oils, so when I needed some new SPF and saw this, I had to try it. Good news is that it’s super easy to apply and I never got sunburned while using it. It also feels really nice to apply if it’s been sitting out in the sun with you for a bit. Unfortunately, it doesn’t not absorb into the skin well. Not a complete deal breaker, but leaves me on the fence on whether I’m gonna repurchase it or not.
Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask
I will forever repurchase this hair mask, it is by far one of my favorites. Not only is it a reasonable price for the amount of product you get, it leaves my hair super duper soft when I’m done using it. I have no bad things to say about this product.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Moisturizer
Everything I try from La Roche Posay is pretty much a huge hit with my skin. I love how heavy duty this moisturizer is without feeling heavy. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t have a powerful scent, is great for sensitive skin, and really helps out my dry patches. Not to mention that I love how the product itself is suspended in that little baggy inside of the container. I was able to get every last drop out of the bottle without cutting it open. It’s also really easy to gauge how much of the product you have left. I’ve used this moisturizer across seasons, and it works just as well in summer as it does winter. Overall, great year round option without fail.
Fake Bake Flawless Self Tan Liquid
I feel like I’ve tried out a bunch of self-tan stuff lately, and I think I prefer mousses or the gradual lotions to liquids or sprays. Liquids and sprays just have a potential for such a mess and I’m supremely clumsy. I mean this was a decent product: provided good color without streaking, but the smell is so-so and I’m pretty sure I stained my bathroom mat. I probably won’t repurchase.
Not Pictured: Colab Dry Shampoo in most scents available
In the past three months, I have gone through 4 of the travel sized cans, a regular sized can, and the version that adds texture. While the texturized one is not my cup of tea (it has a little too much grit in it), I absolutely adore the regular formulas. Especially for a drugstore item. I kid you not, it’s my favorite dry shampoo and I can’t wait until you can get a hold of it in the States easier. Does a great job at soaking up any grease at the roots without leaving that white residue, or really any residue for that matter.
