The Batiste Dry Shampoo was my holy grail product until I discovered the Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, and it’s still my favorite drug store product. So needless to say I was stoked to get a travel size can of it. It does leave a little more white-cast residue than the Klorane, but with blonde hair, it doesn’t show up that much and provides good texture for second day hair.
I am absolutely swimming in perfume samples that I’m almost sure I will never make it through, so I was not expecting to like Chloe Love Story as much as I did. I’ve worn it the last three days in a row and I can not stop nuzzling my wrist. It’s very florally but yet earthy at the same time since it’s mostly jasmine with undertones of cedar wood. I’m pretty sure I’l buy this to replace my current work scent whenever I’m finally able to make it through the bottle.
As a brand, I’m a huge fan of Nails Inc. Each of their Nail Lacquers I’ve tried have had some of the longest lasting manicures I’ve done at home. The shade is Princes Place, which is a nice opaque periwinkle shade. Swatches will be coming to my Instagram feed once I’m done testing out the polish I already have on.
The StriVectin Intensive Illuminating Serum has actually been included in past boxes, this one and last months. Having been using it for a month already, I’ve determined that while it’s not really a product I need at this point in my skin regime, the formula is amazing. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel tacky or sticky, and doesn’t have an over powering smell. I didn’t notice too much of a difference in my skin, but my skin tone was pretty even already except for some hormonal breakouts. So I handed off the new bottle to my mom since it’s a little better fit for her.
The little pods of Nugg Beauty Face Masks in Revitalizing, Hydrating, and Deep Cleansing are the perfect size for a single use mask. I’m actually wearing the deep cleansing mask as I’m writing this. Most deep cleansing masks I’ve tried are a little too drying for my skin, but this is really gentle and kind of hydrating. It says to leave the masks on for 5-10 minutes, I left the others on for about 30 and they never dried out. Removing it was pretty easy and didn’t leave any residue left on my skin or leave it feeling too irritated.
