I was really excited to test out the Benefit Roller Lash mascara after all of the blogger hype it’s received. However, in the #bbloggers community, Benefits most well known mascara They’re Real is a bit of a cult item. Everyone raves about it, and I just can’t get it to work for me no matter how much I wish or try. I had the same results with the Roller Lash. Though I have read on some other blogs that they only thing differing between the two are the brushes, and that the formula is pretty much the same, so there’s that.
I love Malin + Goetz as a brand, as was really expecting to like the Mojito Lip Balm. Unfortunately it just felt/tasted a little too sweet for me. It was fairly moisturizing, but I still pine for the Ole Henriksen Fresh Lips, my holy grail lip product that is becoming increasingly hard to track down.
Tl;Dr: Malin + Goetz? Love them. Mojitos? Adore adore adore. Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm? Not for me.
With the Mac Cinderella line out, I have been dying to find a really pretty Cinderella pink lip color. This is it. The Cargo Lip Gloss in Stockholm is such a pretty, subtle pink color. It isn’t too sticky for a gloss, and has a nice scent to it. Obviously it won’t last as long as a nice matte lip, but it’s also a little more hydration friendly even if it wears off quickly. I’m still not a fan of glosses, but I LOVE this color. Lately I’ve been layering it over my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat pencil in Pillow Talk. Adore the combination.
I have been wanting to try some texturizing spray for ages but didn’t know where to start. Enter the Oscar Blandi Texture & Volume Spray! I’m still trying to get the right amount figured out, but texture does it give! I especially have been loving it for putting up my hair second or third day. My hair just stays where I put it better. Definitely looking forward to getting the hang of it a bit better!
This is only the second Juice Beauty product that I’ve tried. The first being the CC cream, which I hated. So was not too excited to give this try, but I also needed moisturizer, so after toning, on it went. And you know what? I think it’s amazing. It is the perfect blend of not too heavy but still heavy enough to pack some punch. My skin has been fairly dehydrated (well even more so than normal) since my recent multi-continent travels, and this has been a great switch up to reintroduce some moisture back into my routine.
