There’s nothing like 20% that will tempt me into finally buying myself some items that have been on my wishlist for what seems like ages. Mad love for the lovely Allie (check out her youtube channel here) who kindly hooked a blogger up with a Sephora Employee Appreciation Sale code. Girl, you rock. 🙂
I’ve been super into KBrand beauty products for awhile now and have been so excited to see them in more and more of my go to beauty stores. I picked up the travel size May Coop Raw Sauce, which is an essence applied after toner but before moisturizer.
First impression? I love how well it applies and it really seems to be tackling my dehydrated patches along my chin. The one day I tried using this in the morning, it caused my primer/foundation to pill, so I’ve been using it at nights.
The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is definitely one of those “Bloggers Made Me Buy It” items. I honestly can’t remember the last time I read something not wonderful about it. So I was excited to see if it would live up to the hype or be a little underwhelming.
First impression? My first test run of this foundation was Halloween night when I committed a huge beauty addict faux pas and fell asleep with my makeup still on. Woke up and it was still holding strong. 22 hours of looking poreless? Check.
I have been swatching this baby every time I walk into a Sephora or Ulta. I know everyone seems to utterly rave about Champagne Pop (and they should), but the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Rose Gold has my heart. Definitely one of those low risk purchases that you know you will cherish.
First impressions? I love it as much as I thought I would. Great staying power, gorgeous sheen, pigmentation is bomb, and the shade = heart eye emojis times a zillion.
Sephora also had a baby sized Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lipgloss in bittersweet available as one of their 100 point awards. In my cart it went.
First Impression? Con, it’s a gloss. Pro, the color is such a pretty purple. I’ll be testing it out more this weekend, but will keep you posted on the overall verdict.
Forever repurchase the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. It’s a dual phase, so you have to shake it before applying to a cotton round, but boy does it work without stinging my eyes. Honestly, I think it may be a dupe for the Lancome Bi-Facial one, but mostly the quality for the price is completely spot on.
Do you have any new makeup or skincare bits you’re trying out?
